What is Minecraft Dungeons II?
Minecraft Dungeons II is the sequel to Mojang's 2020 action RPG, developed by Mojang Studios together with Double Eleven. It keeps the family-friendly hack-and-slash dungeon crawling formula while replacing discrete missions with a contiguous, interconnected Overworld dotted with dungeons to conquer.
New Talisman System
Three passive slots per hero that sit alongside weapons, artifacts and armor — a whole new layer of build planning.
Jump Ability
Jumping is brand new to the sequel, changing how dungeons are explored and how fights play out.
Interconnected Overworld
Choose your own path through an interconnected Overworld instead of a linear mission list.

Yes — the game launches day one on Game Pass for both console and PC. That makes a Game Pass subscription the cheapest way to play at launch if you subscribe for a single month, and Xbox Play Anywhere means your PC and Xbox versions share one purchase.

Yes. Full cross-platform multiplayer is supported between PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Switch, so you can team up with friends regardless of platform. Your heroes and progression carry across platforms through your Microsoft account.

No — just like the first game there are no fixed classes. Your build comes entirely from the gear you equip: melee weapons, ranged weapons, four armor slots, three artifact slots and the new talisman system. You can respec your playstyle at any time by swapping equipment.
What are talismans?+
Talismans are the sequel's brand-new passive slot system. Every hero equips three talismans that grant passive bonuses — healing, damage, defense, speed, loot and more — alongside your active weapon and artifact loadout. They add a whole new layer of build planning that did not exist in the first game.
How many players does co-op support?+
Up to four heroes can play together in online co-op, and couch co-op is supported with shared and split-screen options on consoles. Matchmaking lets you fill parties with random players when your friends are offline.
Which platforms is Minecraft Dungeons II on?+
The game releases on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, with full crossplay between them. A Switch 2 version is also planned. System requirements for PC are available on the game's Steam store page.
